Overview

If you have worked with a supplier previously, but are still not 100 percent confident in their capabilities than it would be in your best interests to perform a During Production Inspection. This can be done at any time, but is generally performed when mass production has reached approximately 20% to 50% of total production. When very strict quality standards are required than it is best not to wait for a final random inspection, but to try to catch any potential issues as early as possible. If any issues do arise than there is still time to solve them hopefully without delaying the completion and shipment dates.
